The New Mexico Forest and Watershed Restoration Institute coordinates and participates in a variety of public outreach events to help communities in fire-adapted landscapes. These include Wildfire Resiliency Fairs (Camino a la Resiliencia) set up by the Institute to provide practical information on wildfire preparation, mitigation and recovery. NMFWRI staff also help and present at resource fairs, conferences, field trips and events coordinated by other agencies and at the request of partners.
